If we haven’t met before - hi, welcome! I am so happy you found your way to this page. I want to take this section to share my why this membership is so important to me and how it came about.

To understand how I got here, we need to jump back to Autumn 2014.

I was in my mid twenties and I was having a quarter life crisis.

I am so glad I did.

I was working at Warner Music UK, managing a team and living it up at the brit awards and industry events as an industry ‘professional’. I was also “pursuing” my music career as an artist.

It’s useful to know that prior to joining Warner I had worked at PPL for 2 years (the UK sound recording music collection society).

I put pursuing my music career in bunny ears before because looking back I can see that I was doing the bare minimum. Just enough that I could convince myself I was ‘putting myself out there’ but not enough that I was truly at risk of REALLY knowing if I could ‘make it’.

One lunch time during my mid life crises, I stumbled across a Brene Brown Ted Talk about courage and vulnerability and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was holding myself back because deep deeeeep down I was afraid.

Afraid of failing. Afraid of succeeding. Afraid of getting screwed over. Afraid of online cancel culture. Afraid I wasn’t good enough. Afraid It would never happen and on….

These unprocessed and unacknowledged fears had been keeping me stuck.

But enough was enough.

This was a turning point for me.

Within 2 years of this statement I had written and recorded my debut album ‘We Will Need Courage’ (recorded in Nashville) and I was standing in HMV picking up my album from the ‘recommended new releases’. aisle.

An absolute dream for a girl who had grown up in the 90’s going to HMV to buy the new spice girls singles.

Since the release of this album I have toured the UK with artists Lucy Spraggan, Rebecca Ferguson, Paul Carrack & Don Mclean plus an epic European tour with Anastacia and a Germany tour with Paul Carrack.

I have had my music played on radio stations across the UK including extensive BBC Radio support. I’ve been featured in press including The Telegraph. IU have had my music synced on shows on BBC, ITV, SKY & SKY Sport.

I recorded my 2nd album ‘Woman In The Arena’ with legend producer Julian Emery (Nothing But Thieves, Lissie) in Hoxa Studios in London.

I am an independent artist with ZERO management and am currently halfway through my 3rd studio album.

During the pandemic when all my touring came to a halt and the industry paused I decided to take the time to pursue another growing passion fo mine…helping and mentoring other artists.

More and more artists (and managers) were coming to me for advice. For the “how”.

The thing is, I knew that the ‘how’ was never the thing they needed. I could see that (just like me prior to that brene brown ted talk) their mindsets, their internal worlds were getting in the way.

So during the pandemic I trained in mindset, life & success coaching, I trained in incredible life-changing modalities such as NLP, EFT, TIMEline, Hypnosis, Positive Psychology and Human Design.

And I launched my coaching & mentorship business.

I left Warner a few months later and have been coaching ever since.

But I’ve been wanting to bring this work to a wider audience and to more music creatives - at an accessible price. And so, finally the Mind Before Music movement and it’s membership is born.

There’s so much of the ‘in between’ and the ‘how’ I haven’t shared here but I DO share all of the the nitty gritty with everyone inside the MBM membership. I share my lessons, my mistakes, my learnings, my advice - if I think it will help you to know, I will tell you.
